ABSTRACT:
A broadband RF microwave source is used to generate a high-energy, narrow lse which is used to provide the illuminating signal for an active radar system while simultaneously jamming other active radar systems. The generation of the RF microwave energy utilizes a spark gap generation system. Jamming is accomplished by overload ringing of the receiver portion of the other radar systems.
