A movable shade26for shielding a part of light emitted from a light source22atoward a reflecting surface24aof a reflector24is moved between two positions in a longitudinal direction by a shade driving device28according to a vehicle running situation, thereby changing a region in which the reflecting surface of the reflector24is to be utilized. More specifically, light emitted toward an outer peripheral region24a2of the reflecting surface24ais shielded to permit only light incidence on an inner peripheral region24a1thereof when the movable shade26is moved to a forward position, while light emitted toward the inner peripheral region24a1of the reflecting surface24ais shielded to permit only light incidence on the outer peripheral region24a2when the movable shade26is moved to a rearward position.
