ABSTRACT:
A light-weight lead-acid battery has been prepared which contains a novel light weight electrode assembly. The electrode assembly comprises a laminated electrode having at least three plies, the center ply being a conductive sheet and the outer two plies being sheets of porous, compressed and sintered homogeneous composite of synthetic fibers and lead oxide powder material.
