Light-stable TiO.sub.2 pigment composition consisting of TiO.sub.2, Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 and antimony oxide wherein the Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 and antimony oxide are in solid solution with the TiO.sub.2 or in the form of AlSbO.sub.4 or a combination of the two.
