ABSTRACT:
A light-sensitive silver halide photographic material comprising a support and provided thereon a silver halide emulsion layer containing a magenta dye-forming coupler represented by formula (M-I) and a compound represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein Z represents a group of non-metal atoms necessary to complete a nitrogen-containing heterocylic ring which may have a substituent; X represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent capable of being split off upon reaction with the oxidized product of a color developing agent; and R represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent; ##STR2## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 independently represent an aliphatic group or an aromatic group; and l, m, n independently represent 0 to 1 provided that l, m and n are not 1 at the same time is disclosed.
