ABSTRACT:
A light receiving device1includes a support substrate12provided thereon with a photodetector11including a photodetecting portion111and a base substrate112on which the photodetecting portion111is placed; and a transparent substrate13disposed so as to oppose the face of the support substrate12on which the photodetector11is provided. Between the support substrate12and the transparent substrate13, a frame portion14is provided so as to surround the photodetector11. The frame portion14is a photo-curing adhesive, and directly adhered to the transparent substrate13and the support substrate12. Such structure provides a light receiving device capable of exhibiting the desired performance, and a method of manufacturing such light receiving device can also be provided.
