A light projector includes a polarized light splitter3that splits unpolarized light irradiated from a light source1into p-polarized light and s-polarized light, and the p-polarized light and/or the s-polarized light are irradiated as vertical polarized light and/or horizontal polarized light, providing a driver with considerably improved forward visibility in comparison with a conventional headlight.
