ABSTRACT:
A light guide plate (100) includes a light incident surface (110), two opposite light emitting surfaces (120) each adjoining to the light incident surface, a plurality of first tapered structures (132), and a plurality of second tapered structure (134). The first and second tapered structures are provided on the light incident surface and are tapered in opposite directions. The present LCD lighting system also provides a surface light source (800) and a display device (900) using the light guide plate.
