During operation, the light-emitting diodes9radiate through the openings2of the light-emitting diode carrier1. A film10is applied on the front side4of the light-emitting diode carrier1, said film being transmissive to the radiation emitted by the light-emitting diodes and protecting the light-emitting diode carrier from ambient influences.
