ABSTRACT:
A light emission display drive apparatus used as a light emission display drive circuit includes an at least second-order ΔΣ modulator3for turning on/off a constant drive current or a constant drive voltage, thereby performing gradation control of each light emitting element. A pixel read section2reads the brightness value of each light emitting element in a predetermined period, the ΔΣ modulator3performs ΔΣ modulation in a predetermined period in response to the read brightness value, and an output change section36of the ΔΣ modulator performs operations of detecting unevenness of a list of output pulses of the ΔΣ modulation and dispersing the output pulses in the same light emitting element among light emitting elements, thereby performing multiple-step gradation control of the light emitting element.
