ABSTRACT:
A light emission device and a display device having the light emission device are provided. The light emission device includes: a first substrate and a second substrate facing the first substrate; a plurality of first electrodes and a plurality of second electrodes on an inner surface of the first substrate, the first electrodes crossing the second electrodes; a plurality of electron emission regions electrically connected to the first electrodes at crossing regions where the first electrodes cross the second electrode; a light emission unit on an inner surface of the second substrate; and at least one spacer between the first and second substrates, Here, a shortest distance D between the spacer and the electron emission regions satisfies the following condition:in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?500 μm≦D≦0.2Dh,in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?where, Dh is a diagonal length of at least one of the crossing regions.
