A light duty liquid detergent with desirable cleansing properties and mildness to the human skin comprising: two sulfonate surfactants, an alkali metal or ammonium salt of a C.sub.8-18 ethoxylated alkyl ether sulfate anionic surfactant, an alkyl polyglucoside surfactant, an ethoxylated/propoxylated nonionic surfactant and water.
