ABSTRACT:
A light applicator (27) for medical applications is proposed whose diffusor (1) comprises diffusion regions (7, 8, 9) with paraboloidal boundary surfaces (11, 12) This configuration of the diffusor (1) permits a particularly good homogenization of the distribution of light along the longitudinal axis of the diffuser (1).
