ABSTRACT:
Photographic assemblages are described employing metallizable redox dye-releasers and a ligand having a coordinating site which is: ##STR1## In a preferred embodiment, the ligand is an alpha amino carboxylic acid, a 2-pyridinecarboxylic acid, a 2-aminoalcohol, a 2-hydroxymethylpyridine, a 2-hydroxyacetic acid, a 1,2-diamine or a 2-hydroxypyridine-N-oxide.
