ABSTRACT:
A multi-purpose closed trailer for use with motor vehicles, providing walk-in access with a low frontal area for energy-efficient highway operation.
A lightweight cover having a lockable, top-hinged rear door/window is matched with a trailer load bed, to which it is hingedly attached at the forward end. Suitable compression struts and attaching bracketry, latching means, sealing means and a lift handle are arranged in such a configuration relative to the cover and load bed as to provide:
