A modular printhead mounting for a digital printer, that has a support frame3, a plurality of mounting sites19for mounting respective printhead modules2to the frame3, wherein each of the mounting sites19is connected to the support frame3via a plurality of hingedly connected link arms15, 16, 17and18. An input lever13is fulcrumed against the support frame and acts against one of the link arms16wherein input movement of the input lever13effects minute adjustments of the mounting sites with respect to the support frame.
