ABSTRACT:
An interlocking male terminal45is contained in a slider4, and an interlocking female terminal35is contained in a male connector3so as to be opposed to the interlocking male terminal45. When fitting a female connector2and the male connector3together, a connecting lever23is pivotally moved through an angle of about 90 degrees in a direction of arrow M, and then the slider4is advanced in a direction of arrow A. As a result, the female and male connectors2and3are completely fitted together, and also the interlocking male terminal45is connected to the interlocking female terminal35, so that wires5are electrically connected respectively to wires6. The interlocking female terminal45is formed integrally with the slider4, and the interlocking female terminal35is formed integrally with the male connector3, and therefore a lever fitting-type connector1can be reduced in size or length, and besides the number of the component parts thereof can be reduced.
