ABSTRACT:
The invention provides novel tRNA synthetase polypeptides and DNA (RNA) encoding tRNA synthetase polypeptides and methods for producing such polypeptides by recombinant techniques. Also provided are methods for utilizing tRNA synthetase polypeptide for the protection against infection, particularly bacterial infections.
