ABSTRACT:
A lens-exchangeable, single lens reflex camera of the TTL light measurement type, which is selectively settable to a shutter speed priority diaphragm automatic control mode, a diaphragm priority shutter speed automatic control mode, and a manual exposure control mode, includes a locking device arranged on a camera body for locking a diaphragm presetting member of an exchangeable lens at a specific position wherein indication of a f-number representative of an automatically controlled diaphragm aperture is allowed with a diaphragm of the exchangeable lens being held at its fully open aperture. An exposure mode change-over mechanism may be interlocked with the locking device such that the camera is set to the shutter speed priority diaphragm automatic control mode when the locking device is brought into its operative condition to lock the diaphragm presetting member at the specific position. The locking device can be brought into its inoperative condition to release the diaphragm presetting member by manipulation thereof, or in association with releasing of the exchangeable lens from its locked condition for removing the same from the camera body.
