ABSTRACT:
An aspect of a public display device includes a transparent front plate210, a rear frame220and a display panel230. The rear frame220is configured to have a waterproof structure, and the transparent front plate and the rear frame are sealed with a silicone resin interposed therebetween so as to have a waterproof property. A transparent gel-like resin layer250is formed between a rear side of the transparent front plate and a front side of the display panel. The transparent gel-like resin layer reduces a stress, which is applied to the display panel by deformation of the transparent front plate. Thus, it is possible to prevent a display state from being changed by an external force when a memory type liquid crystal display device is used.
