ABSTRACT:
An improved layered photoresponsive device comprised of a supporting substrate, a photogenerating layer, and in contact with the photogenerating layer an electron transporting layer comprised of compounds of the following formula: ##STR1## wherein X and Y are cyano groups or alkoxycarbonyl groups A, B, and W are electron withdrawing groups independently selected from the group consisting of acyl, alkoxycarbonyl, nitro, alkylaminocarbonyl, and derivatives thereof, m is a number of from 0 to 2, and n is the number 0 or 1.
