ABSTRACT:
A latex composition sensitive to heat, particularly for use as a binder for nonwoven fabrics, comprises 0.05 to 5 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of a latex (as the dry solids) of a urethane-oxyalkylene copolymer having the formula ##STR1## IN WHICH R represents an aliphatic group and/or an aromatic group which can contain a biuret group, a urethane group or isocyanate groups, R' is hydrogen or a lower alkyl radical having 1 to 8 carbon atoms (straight or branch chain), an aryl radical or an alkylaryl radical, x is 0 or 1, y is always greater than 2 and x+y is also always greater than 2; n has a value ranging between 2 and 4 inclusive while p has a value at least equal to 5.
