ABSTRACT:
A latent curing agent for epoxy resin, characterized in that the latent curing agent is an adduct obtained by reacting (a) a polyfunctional epoxy compound, (b) a compound having at least one OH, NH.sub.2, NH or SH group together with a tertiary amino group in the molecule and (c) a carboxylic acid anhydride is a good curing agent for epoxy resins. The present curing agent is useful in formulating storable, one-package, heat-curable epoxy resin-based compositions.
