ABSTRACT:
An expendable laser modulator uses high "Q" components with stripline fabation techniques to achieve short pulses. Reverse connected diodes, one of which is a laser diode charge and discharge a pair of capacitors via a semiconductor switch which disconnects the charging voltage source during discharge.
