ABSTRACT:
A laser method for delivery of pulsed infrared laser energy to a predetermined depth below the surface of the epidermis is disclosed. The method can be used to increase skin tone and reduce wrinkles. For the purposes of increasing skin tone, a novel method for quantifying the effect in vivo is disclosed. Post-treatment topical application of a pharmaceutical mixture including anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and neocollagen promoting agents can be used to increase new collagen synthesis stimulated by the present invention.
