ABSTRACT:
A laser beam printer of the present invention has a laser exposing unit including apochromatical plastic cylinder lenses being integrally formed by adhesion of plastic of the same material as a f.theta. lens or molding, having negative power in a sub-scanning direction, a substantially flat surface contacting air, and first and second f.theta. lenses in which surfaces other than a toric surface are displaced in the same direction in the sub-scanning direction and a toric surface is displaced in the direction opposite to the other surfaces in the sub-scanning direction and a different inclination is provided for each of the lenses. The plastic cylinder lens and the glass cylinder lens may be inversely arranged.
