Disclosed is a laminated metal plate for a drawn can, which comprises a laminate comprising a base metal, a layer of a film of a polyester composed mainly of ethylene terephthalate units and, if desried, an adhesive primer layer interposed between the base metal and the polyester film layer, wherein the X-ray diffraction intensity ratio, defined by the following formula (I), of the polyester film layer is in the range of from 0.5 to 15:
