ABSTRACT:
A laminated ceramic electronic component has a plurality of conductive layers embedded in a ceramic substrate. The laminated ceramic electronic component includes: a functional area composed of the plurality of conductive layers and ceramic layers interposed therebetween; and a protective area formed around the functional area to have a ring-like cross section. The laminated ceramic electronic component satisfies the following condition:in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?0<t/Wg≦0.80,in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?where t represents a wall thickness of the protective area in a vertical direction, and Wg represents a wall thickness of the protective area in a transverse direction.
