ABSTRACT:
Magnetic core, suitable for use in a magnetic head or in a transformer. The magnetic core is composed of lamellar core parts of amorphous, ferromagnetic material coated with a thin film of an oxidic material chosen from the group comprising SiO.sub.2, Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, TiO.sub.2 and Si.sub.3 N.sub.4. The core parts are bonded together by means of an epoxy adhesive.
