ABSTRACT:
A ladder assembly includes a supporting bracket to pivotally mount one end of a ladder member; the ladder member comprises an elongated support member which suitably comprises a tubular pole, and a plurality of spaced apart rung members extending transversely of the support member to form rung members on opposite sides of the support member; the rung members are suitably tubular with grip sleeves over at least a portion of their outer surface to minimize hand and foot slippage. The ladder assembly may be particularly adapted for a marine vessel, access to hydropoles and escape from high buildings.
