ABSTRACT:
Disclosed is a gene encoding a mutated lactoferricin peptide and anE. colicell transformed with the same, wherein the mutated lactoferricin peptide has substitutions at the 7th and 10th amino acid residues of the wildtype bovine lactoferricin. The gene of the present invention can be expressed inE. coliat high efficiency, and the expressed mutated lactoferricin peptide can be purified at high yield, thus making its mass production possible.
