ABSTRACT:
There is disclosed a lactam derivative of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group; R.sup.2 is a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group, a cycloalkyl group or a nitrogen-containing 6-membered heterocyclic group; Z is oxygen atom or sulfur atom; and n is an integer of 2 or 3,
and a salt thereof.
The above lactam derivative is novel and useful as a pharmaceutical compound.
