ABSTRACT:
Radioactive-halogen labeled fatty acids, especially fatty acids having as an .omega.-terminal or mid-chain substituent 18.sub.F as the labeling atom. The hydrocarbon has more than fifteen carbon atoms in the hydrocarbon chain and is purified by high pressure liquid chromatography for use in investigating the kinetics of material exchange in the heart muscle.
