ABSTRACT:
A knife sheath contains a sharpening device which functions to sharpen a knife's blade at the introduction and extraction of the knife into and out of, respectively, the sheath. The device is incoporated in the form of a separate subassembly that is removably inserted into one end of a knife sheath.
