The portable wireless transmitter has a transmitter integrated-circuit chip loaded with a computer program to implement a process to generate a power-code and a starter-code and controls the states of a motor vehicle by sending a radio-frequency-modulated power-code and starter code. The receiver/controller board has a receiver integrated-circuit chip loaded with a computer program to implement a process to detect the power-code and the starter-code and control a plurality of switches for switching among the OFF, ACC, START and RUN states of a motor vehicle.
