ABSTRACT:
A key lock-in prevention system has a warning of a failure to remove a key properly given to a driver when the driver has forgotten to remove the ignition key. When such warning is not required, it is possible to give no warning, wherein no warning of a failure to remove a key is given to the driver when the ignition key is inserted into the key cylinder during the driver's seat side door's open state, even if three conditions, that is, the ignition key is inserted in the key cylinder (Condition1), the driver's seat side door is open (Condition2) and the ignition switch is in the off state (Condition3) are met at the same time.
