ABSTRACT:
Jiggering for ceramic ware is effected while providing a jiggering surface of a jiggering profile tool with a gas to produce a thin gas film between the jiggering surface and plastic clay. The gas film is formed by a gas fed from the outside of the jiggering surface and the jiggering profile tool is heated to 50.degree.-60.degree. C. High-temperature heating of the tool is dispensed with.
