A jig for used in performing a finish processing of a cylinder bore3comprises a jig body10that comes close to and disengages from a cylinder head mounting surface2, bolt member16that forms a tapered bore portion20by a internal surface21of a plurality of blot pieces18having a threaded portion19engageable to a female threaded portion8of a head bolt hole7and that expands the diameter thereof by a wedge action receiving through the tapered bore portion20, a tapered shaft member17having a tapered surface portion22inserted into the tapered bore portion20so as to add the wedge action to it, and a piston member24having a pressing surface23contacting a given surface portion on the cylinder head mounting surface2.
