BRIEF SUMMARY
This application is a 371 of PCT/EP93/00918 filed Apr. 16, 1994 and published as WO93/22295 Nov. 11, 1993.
The present invention relates to isoxazolecarboxamides of the formula I ##STR2## where R.sup.1 is and/or up to three hydroxyl and/or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy groups and/or one of the following radicals: -alkoxycarbonyl-C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkoxy, di-(C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkyl)-aminocarbonyl; each having up to 3 hetero atoms selected from the group consisting of oxygen, sulfur and nitrogen, where two oxygen and/or sulfur atoms cannot be directly adjacent and where the heterocycles may furthermore carry one or two of the following substituents: halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkoxy; substituents: halogen, nitro, cyano, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, partially or completely halogenated C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkoxy or partially or completely halogenated C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkoxy; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 -alkynyloxy, each of which may carry up to three halogen atoms and/or a phenyl radical having, if desired, up to three of the following radicals: halogen, nitro, cyano, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkoxy; phenylamino, where the phenyl radical may additionally carry up to three of the following radicals: halogen, nitro, cyano, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkoxy; following radicals: halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy, partially or completely halogenated C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or partially or completely halogenated C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy; unsubstituted or substituted by C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 -alkynyl, halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy or phenyl, unsubstituted or substituted by halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy or phenyl, where the phenyl radical in turn may carry from one to three of the following groups: halogen, nitro, cyano, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, partially or completely halogenated C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy or partially or completely halogenated C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy; halogen, nitro, cyano, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, partially or completely halogenated C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy or partially or completely halogenated C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy; C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 -cycloalkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy or phenyl which may additionally carry up to three of the following substituents: halogen, nitro, cyano, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkyl, partially or completely halogenated C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkoxy or partially or completely halogenated C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkoxy; or R.sup.8 and R.sup.9 together are a methylene chain having 4 to 7 methylene groups; following radicals: halogen, cyano, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy, C.sub.3 -C.sub.8 -cycloalkyl or phenyl, where the phenyl ring in turn may carry from one to three of the following radicals: halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, partially or completely halogenated C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy or partially or completely halogenated C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy; following radicals: halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, partially or completely halogenated C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy or partially or completely halogenated C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy; straight-chain C.sub.3 -C.sub.8 -alkynyl, each of which may be monosubstituted to trisubstituted by halogen and/or monosubstituted by phenyl, where the phenyl radical in turn may carry from one to three of the following groups: C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -haloalkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -haloalkoxy, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkylthio, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -haloalkylthio, halogen, cyano or nitro; C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -haloalkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -haloalkoxy, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkylthio, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -haloalkylthio, halogen, nitro, cyano, formyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkanoyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -haloalkanoyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxycarbonyl; hydrogen.
