ABSTRACT:
Substituted 3-isoquinolinol compounds of the general formula ##STR1## that exhibit cardiotonic, renal vasodilating and phosphodiesterase fraction III properties are pharmacologically active in the treatment of cardiac conditions. Methods for synthesizing and using those compounds are described.
