ABSTRACT:
Alkylation of an isoparaffin with an olefin is carried out at a reaction temperature of 80.degree.-225.degree. C with a solid perfluorinated polymer catalyst containing pendent sulfonic acid groups and supported on an inert porous carrier having an average pore diameter of between 50-600A.
