ABSTRACT:
A novel class of compounds which are useful as plant growth regulators is disclosed, having the general structural formula: ##STR1## R' is; C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 alkyl, nitro or halo and n is zero or an integer from 1 to 4, R.sup.2 is; C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 alkyl, or phenyl and Ar is; phenyl or benzyl which may also have thereon a methylenedioxy group or from one to three of the substituents: cyano, phenoxy, nitro, fluoro, bromo, chloro, trifluoromethyl, C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 alkyl, alkenyl, alkoxy or alkylthio and C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 alkyl-substituted amino.
