ABSTRACT:
An improved intraocular lens ("IOL") is provided that has antimicrobial properties. The invention involves use of one or more antimicrobial polymers in fabricating at least a portion of the IOL. A preferred form of the invention involves use of antimicrobial iontophoretic materials.
