An intraocular lens implant including a lens optic portion, a haptic portion and a support structure formed with the lens implant. The support structure extending longitudinally along at least a portion of the implant. The intraocular lens can be implanted in the capsular bag or placed in the ciliary sulcus after cataract surgery.
