ABSTRACT:
An internal combustion engine includes a plurality of cylinders (1through12) and at least one turbocharger (2) and at least one exhaust manifold (13) which passes exhaust gases from two or more cylinders (5, 6) to the turbocharger (20), wherein the exhaust manifold (13) has a region (15) cooled with a cooling device and a substantially uncooled region (14).
