ABSTRACT:
There is provided an interchangeable lens, a camera body, a camera system, and a method for controlling the same, with which a highly efficient and stable image blur correction effect can be obtained. A camera system1has a camera body10and an interchangeable lens20that can be attached to and detached from the camera body10. The camera body10has an imaging unit for imaging a subject through the interchangeable lens20, and a sequence microcomputer100capable of sending and receiving information to and from a lens microcomputer200and for controlling the imaging operation of an imaging unit120. The interchangeable lens20includes a shake detection unit201for detecting shake in the camera system1, an image blur correction device210for adjusting the optical path from a subject to the camera body10and thereby correcting the blurring of an image caused by shaking of the camera system1, and the lens microcomputer200capable of sending and receiving information to and from the sequence microcomputer100, and for controlling the drive of the image blur correction device210according to the amount of shake detected by the shake detection unit201. The lens microcomputer200actuates the shake correction device210once a specific amount of time has elapsed since a command for actuating the image blur correction unit was received from the sequence microcomputer100.
