ABSTRACT:
Systems and methods are provided for using an inter-modulation interference inhibiting line amplifier that reduces signal losses for signals transmitted between a transmitting element and a receiving element. The present invention inhibits inter-modulation interference by separating the component signals of a transmitted signal into their component parts. The component signals are then adjusted for signal losses. Such adjusting includes amplification, equalization, and passing component signals through a gain control stage. The component signals are then recombined and transmitted to a receiving element or another line amplifier. The signal received by the line amplifier may be a signal transmitted by a transmitting element or another line amplifier.
