ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to processes for intensive shrimp breeding, in tanks here a small proportion of the water is renewed, with a view to obtaining the growth of post-larvae more than 12-days old. Before placing the post-larvae in the tank, the water is prepared by filling up the tank progressively and adding daily to that water an artificial food containing nitrobenous organic products until flocs, formed of heterotroph and nitrifying bacteria and phytoplanktons, are obtined, serving as a complement of food to the shrimps which are fed with artificial food.
