ABSTRACT:
An insulated knitted fabric comprises a single layer or two or more layers, wherein at least the outer layer is composed of fibers having a single filament fineness of 0.2 to 3.0 dtex; at least one layer of the knitted fabric has a stitch density of 45 courses/2.54 cm or above and 45 wales/2.54 cm or above; the air permeability of the knitted fabric is 5 to 50 cc/cm2·sec and the knitted fabric is subjected to water absorptive finish. The knitted fabric is useful as general clothes materials, sport clothes materials or the like requiring high wind-breaking property and water absorbing property.
