ABSTRACT:
A cover for a pool includes a plurality of panels joined together by welding one another together to form a single blanket. The blanket is in covering relation over the fluid within a pool basin and a plurality of holes formed in the lateral layers of each panel within the blanket permit water to drain through holes from above the blanket and also permit gasses to rise from the fluid within the lagoon upwardly through the holes in the blanket. The method of the present invention comprises welding the various panels together to form the blanket in a shape which conforms to the shape of the pool.
